Michael Cera is set to perform on stage with Tavi Gevinson and Kieran Culkin in Chicago, but he isn’t just an actor anymore.
The Arrested Development actor has released an album of 18 short songs and an early review on his Bandcamp page refers to the collection as “eclectic, jazzy, at times old timey and charmingly folky.”
The album, true that, is available for $7 on the 26-year-old actor’s Bandcamp site, and purchasing it in this way includes three bonus tracks. Jonah Hillrevealed Michael's latest project – which takes a cue from Beyoncé's surprise album – on Twitter, saying, “My great friend Michael Cera is not only a brilliant actor, he also makes great music.”
The Canadian star is currently working on Sausage Party, an animated film about one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. It also stars James Franco, Jonah, Edward Norton, Kristen Wiig, Paul Rudd, Salma Hayek, Bill Hader, Nick Kroll and more.
