Beyoncé’s #BeyGOOD project donates school supplies to needy kids

As if we needed another reason to love Beyoncé!

With back-to-school season just around the corner, the “Drunk In Love” singer has found an innovative way to help children in need.

The 32-year-old songstress has teamed up with State Bags to release a limited-edition backpack (appropriately named the “Givebackpack”), with all the proceeds benefitting at-risk kids.

Beyoncé’s one-year-old charity program, called #BeyGOOD, will also be handing out the backpacks and other school essentials – like pencils, notebooks, and folders — to more than 2,000 children during live "pep rallies for good" at underfunded schools this fall.

And Mrs. Carter isn't the only philanthropic star to focus her efforts on needy kids.

A host of celebrities are using their star power to champion worthy causes, especially when it comes to lending their influence to the voiceless and vulnerable.

From Prince Harry to Selena Gomez, see which other charitable stars offer up their time to help children in need.
