Grammy Award-winning country singer Carrie Underwood and her NHL-player husband, Mike Fisher, are expecting their first child, and fans recently got a first glimpse of the 31-year-old musical artist and her tiny baby bump.
The expectant mom made a glowing appearance on The View on Monday (Oct. 27), sporting a waist-cinching royal-blue patterned dress that revealed the slightest glimpse of her growing babe.
Sitting down with the cast of The View, the country crooner spoke candidly about motherhood, noting how she’s nervous about “being responsible for a tiny human.” Carrie and Mike, who plays for the Nashville Predators, will welcome their new addition in the spring.
After revealing the news last month, Carrie told Hoda on The Today Show in September, “It’s still kind of weird, to be honest. Sometimes I’ll be with my husband and I’m like, ‘I’m going to be a mom. You’re going to be a dad. Like, is this real life?’ But we’re really excited.”
Carrie and Mike first met backstage at one of the country star's shows in Toronto back in October of 2008. The couple later confirmed their engagement in December of 2009 and were married on July 10, 2010 at the Ritz-Carlton Reynolds Plantation in Georgia.
