The pop darling looks incredible, of course, but it’s in a way we’ve never seen before. The snap is entirely androgynous, which is exactly what photographer Thomas Whiteside wanted. He asked hairstylist Karin Bigler and makeup artist Maxine Leonard to style the shoot and tailor it to the current runway trend. “We all presented our ideas [about androgyny] to Taylor and she was up for it,” Bigler told Yahoo!
The spread comes on the heels of Taylor’s September Rolling Stone featured entitled, “The Reinvention of Taylor Swift.” In the article, she openly discussed how happy she is.
“I really like my life right now,” she said. “I have friends around me all the time. I’ve started painting more. I’ve been working out a lot. I’ve started to really take pride in being strong. I love the album I made. I love that I moved to New York.”
Her life sounds pretty sweet to us!
