For any woman who grew up in the '90s, it's probably hard to imagine anyone tackling the song "I'll Make Love to You" better than Boyz II Men, but Justin Bieber has stepped up to the plate. The 21-year-old pop star took the stage at the W Hotel's Weekly Jazz Night event in Hollywood on Sunday (May 24), belting out the sexy song in an impromptu performance he later shared with Instagram fans.
Justin was accompanied by a full brass band, and even dressed the part of a classic crooner by wearing a fedora and tailored pants. The performance was romantically backlit by the rolling hills and twinkling lights of the star-studded city.
Shortly after the clip of the London, Ont. native's performance went viral, Boyz II Men themselves took to Twitter to show their appreciation of Justin's cover love.
We can only hope the “Boyfriend” singer takes them up on their offer.
Of course, this isn't the first time the band and Justin have bromanced each other. The pop icon featured them on his recent holiday album and has previously performed "End of the Road," another one of Boyz II Men's top hits.
According to Billboard, Boyz II Men remains one of the most successful musical acts ever, retaining several records for albums and songs that have spent the most time at #1. Their most recent collection, Collide, was released in 2014. They're currently on a worldwide tour.
