Drake performs surprise concert at New York tween’s Bat Mitzvah
The world has seen Drake get down at his own Bar Mitzvah, thanks to home videos featured in the music video for “HYFR,” and now the Toronto native has helped New Yorker Gigi Ashkenazy have her own epic celebration by performing a surprise set during her milestone Bat Mitzvah. Partygoers inside Manhattan's Rainbow Room were treated to some of his biggest hits, including “My Way," "Back to Back" and “Hotline Bling.”

While the rapper performed popular songs from his catalogue, he made sure to show off some of his iconic dance moves. In one video posted on social media, the 29-year-old is seen recreating moves made famous in his video for “Hotline Bling,” which has been viewed more than 500-million times on YouTube since its release in Oct. 2015.

The crowd went crazy when he dropped verses from his current single "Summer Sixteen," off his hotly anticipated fourth studio album Views from the 6. Drake's best friend and producer Noah '40' Shebib recently revealed to The New York Times what fans can expect from the compilation, which is scheduled to hit stores on April 18. “It’s going to be what everybody expects and wants from Drake and from us. A lot of introspection, very vivid. He’s discovering new flows, new cadences, new patterns.” He also added that he tried "to push the boundaries a little further" by "pulling more untraditional sounds in."
