Justin Bieber just wrapped a seriously busy weekend on Canadian soil. Not only did he pop by Drake's big CD release party at the new Le Vie complex in Toronto, but he also celebrated his dad's engagement at a bash complete with live tigers and opera performances.
First up was Drake's Views event. About an hour after the 29-year-old rapper arrived at the venue and treated attendees to an impromptu performance of his greatest hits, the Stratford native surprised everyone by hopping on stage to give the performer a big hug.
The artist formerly known as Aubrey Graham told crowds to "make some noise for Bieber," who was sporting a freshly shaven head ( he's moved on from his recent dreadlocks). Fans naturally went wild and for the next hour or so, the duo hung out in the VIP section of the bar, indulging in the event's endless supply of Rémy Martin 1738 and Grey Goose.
Also spotted at the fête were Russell Peters, P Reign, model Winnie Harlow (hot off her role in Beyoncé's Lemonade) and Drake's mom and uncle. The evening came to a close in the wee hours of the night.
A few hours later, the "Sorry" singer showed up at his dad's engagement party to girlfriend Chelsey Rebelow. The affair happened at a private VIP art show, where an event called Nyotaimori Celebrating Life Love And Art was also on. It was definitely a spectacle to behold.
Batman was there, along with his Batmobile, as were Iron Man and Wonder Woman. Aerial dancers delighted attendees as they munched on sushi served on models. Also in attendance were former boxing heavyweight Lennox Lewis and a Bengal tiger, which the superstar spent time petting (though much to the dismay of PETA).
Justin's 41-year-old dad Jeremy popped the question to Chelsey in St. Barts in February. It's not known when they'll officially tie the knot.
The Purpose artist's weekend ended on a bed in a private jet, wearing what appear to be his pyjamas. Though we don't know where he was headed, it's clear he was in need of some much-deserved shut-eye.
