Selena Gomez regularly faces fans desperate for her to reunite with ex Justin Bieber, but it seems that at a recent stop on her Revival Tour the singer was ready to make a statement. The 23-year-old asked for a piece of paper that said "Marry Justin Please" from a front-row fan and proceeded to crumple up the sign and toss it off stage.
The incident happened while the former Disney actress was performing a song on the second stop of her tour in Fresno, California. After video surfaced, the fan who posted the footage took to Twitter to say "SELENA CRUMPLED UP MY SISTERS SIGN I'M CRYING."

There are no hard feelings, though, as the fan went on to say, "SELENA SLAYS MY EXISTENCE. IT WAS NOT MEANT TO BE DISRESPECTFUL. I JUST HAD JELENA FEELS. IT WAS SPUR OF THE MOMENT."
While Selena has yet to comment on the incident, she gave a few hints recently that explain why she'd be upset about the constant attention on her past relationship with the "Sorry" singer.
The "Heart Wants What It Wants" performer told Marie Claire that she's dating and meeting new men, but finds herself being very protective of her heart. "I've been having the best time. But I don't trust anybody, so dating can only be fun if I know I'm going to have fun."
She went on to mention that she's trying to keep a positive attitude about everything in her personal life, including her work.
"I would try to promote something that I loved, and the entire interview would be about my personal life. I would leave a room feeling defeated, feeling embarrassed, but I would always make sure to put that smile on my face because I wasn't going to let them get to me."
Selena's anti-sign gesture comes just days after it was revealed that Justin's Instagram throwback photo of the duo is now the most-liked image on the social-media platform. The shot shows the pair kissing in a hot tub, presumably on vacation, and Selena gave her seal of approval by liking the picture.
