Sadly for Quebec, Pink won’t be getting the party started in Montreal. The singer took to Twitter to share her regret that she’s come down with the flu and won’t be able to hit the stage on Friday night (March 23), but assured her fans that she “will absolutely be back to perform.”
The mother of one is “gutted” that her tour will have to skip the Canadian stop, but shared that she’s been struggling with her health for two weeks now. Though she’s tried everything to avoid it, sometimes it’s just not possible. Taking to social media, the musician explained that the entire family has been sick with the same illness and she has “battled my way through these shows because postponing sucks.”

She continued to write: “I’m really sorry and know that I have done everything to avoid this. Carey’s been sent home with flu while me and the kids battle this virus. I wish anyone out there going through this healing vibes and big hugs.”
The GRAMMY winner’s family has been with her every step of the way, in sickness and in health. Pink's biggest fan, 6-year-old daughter Willow, often accompanies mom on the red carpet, always debuting adorable looks (and lip syncing to her mother’s music!) wherever the two go. Through Pink’s empowering lyrics, incredible advice and devotion to motherhood, her daughter and baby boy Jameson, 1, are two lucky kids.
Pink has been flying high on the wings of her What About Us tour, which saw two back-to-back performances – with acrobatics to boot! – in Toronto earlier this week. The star will hopefully continue on to her American stops in Michigan, Kentucky and beyond once she’s back in singing condition – and, of course, she’ll make it back to Montreal healthy and better than ever.
