The 50-year-old took to Instagram to share the exciting news, captioning a photo of her performing with: “Good news! Céline will return to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace for 24 new performances from October 30 through November 17 and from December 28 through January 20!” Tickets, she added, will go on pre-sale starting Tuesday (June 5) at 1 pm EST, before the public sale on Friday (June 8) at 3 pm EST.
The news is bound to please Celine’s diehard fans, some of whom missed their chance at seeing her earlier this year when she fell ill and then had to have necessary ear surgery, which put her out of commission for a few weeks. One fan was so overwhelmed by the news that she joked about needing medical assistance to deal with her emotions: “I NEED A PAPER BAG CAUSE IA M GONNA DIE OF PURE HAPPINESS WE HAVE TO GO”. Another decided this would the perfect treat yourself option, writing, “My birthday gift to myself”.

Better still, her loyal followers will get the chance to see her perform her latest hit track, “Ashes,” live. Many became aware of the beautiful ballad because it’s the theme song for the über-popular Marvel movie Deadpool 2, starring the hilarious Ryan Reynolds. The charismatic pair released a music video for the tune on May 3, showcasing their combined senses of humour to perfection.
The video features Ryan as Deadpool dancing around the powerhouse singer as she performs the ballad on stage. At the end, the actor yells at Celine from the audience, joking, “Celine! That was amazing! Well, it’s too good. This is Deadpool 2, not Titanic. You’re at, like, an 11, we need to get you down to a 5.” In typical Celine fashion, she deadpans the perfect response without hesitation, saying, “Listen. This thing only goes to 11. So beat it, Spiderman!”
