Michael Bublé reveals he has a ‘serious’ second job – and it has nothing to do with music!

Being a father of three and a master of music are two time-consuming jobs, but it turns out Michael Bublé has one other obsession he takes quite seriously: American football! The Canadian crooner recently revealed that he never misses celebrating a Super Bowl Sunday – not even while on tour.

For over a decade, Michael has been throwing parties to commemorate the biggest day in football. “When I’m on tour, I actually throw Super Bowl parties. I have for 15 years. All my crew guys are American from all over the States,” he told People. If this isn’t enough to convince fans, his recent Super Bowl commercial with fizzy water brand bubly might do the trick. In the hilarious clip, the singer sits on a convenience store floor, painstakingly changing the “bubly” on each can to his last name, Bublé, with a permanent marker.

Though it’s evident that the 43-year-old likes to keep in tip-top shape, indulging in some of the finest of American delicacies is not off the table during his football-focused shindigs. “A lot of burgers, a lot of hot dogs, a lot of chips, a lot of beer,” he said, describing his delicious Super Bowl menu. “We always have these awesome football and NFL cakes. I have three fantasy football teams. This is a serious job for me!”

In this case, location isn’t everything. No matter where his tours take him, the award-winning singer makes the parties happen! “Wherever we are, we stop. I’ve done it in Africa, I’ve done it in France, Germany,” he shared. “In Spain, I rented out the lobby of the hotel and we put up a huge screen and set it up to our computer and watched the game.”

This year might be a little different … His viewing party will be treated to a more interesting half-time, when Michael appears on-screen! He said it might be a little “embarrassing,” but we’re willing to bet he’ll receive tons of support from his crew after they kick off his upcoming tour at the beginning of February.
