2019 JUNO Awards: The biggest winners

Shawn Mendes picked up five of the six awards for which he was nominated, including Artist of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, Single of the Year and Album of the Year. He wasn't at the awards, but performed from Europe via satellite.

Singer Jessie Reyez won the R&B/Soul Recording of the Year JUNO award for her Being Human in Public EP.

Singer Bülow was honoured with the Breakthrough Artist of the Year JUNO award. The artist, whose real name is Megan Bülow, has released two EPs to date, Damaged, Vol. 1 and Damaged, Vol. 2 and made waves last year with her single "Not a Love Song."

Alberta's Brett Kissel was awarded the trophy for Country Album of the Year for his We Were That Song LP.

Arkells also invited Indigenous artist Jeremy Dutcher on stage with them while accepting the Rock Album of the Year JUNO Award. They won that trophy on Saturday night at a separate gala event.

Michael Bublé won the Adult Contemporary Album of the Year award for his LP Love (stylized with a heart emoji). It is his fourteenth JUNO Award to date.

David Foster was this year's Allan Waters Humanitarian Award winner for his activism and philantrophy. He was presented the trophy by Michael Bublé, who he discovered. So cute!
