Oscars 2014: The complete list of winners
Gravity cleaned up at this year's Academy Awards, winning five out of its 10 Oscar nominations for Best Director, Cinematography, Film Editing, Original Score and Visual Effects.
But it was 12 Years a Slave that took home the evening's highest honour – Best Picture.
Having undergone a dramatic physical transformation to play an HIV positive cowboy, Matthew McConaughey's ‘McConnaissance’ was complete after winning Best Actor for Dallas Buyers Club.

Best Actress went to Cate Blanchett in Blue Jasmine, who beat out fellow decorated actresses Sandra Bullock (Gravity), Meryl Streep (August: Osage County), Judi Dench (Philomena) and Amy Adams (American Hustle).
Everyone's favourite newcomer, Lupita Nyong'o, took home the statuette for Best Supporting Actress and delivered a heartfelt, gracious speech. “No matter where you’re from, your dreams are valid," she said with tears in her eyes.
Jared Leto took home Best Supporting Actor for his role in Dallas Buyers Club. In his speech, he thanked his mother, Constance Leto, who was his date for the evening.
