Born Gerard Sayer in Sussex, the singer gained his professional moniker when Adam Faith's wife dubbed him Leo for his lion's head of curls. Now based in Sydney, Australia, the Seventies disco star enjoyed a revival in 2005 when a remix of his song Thunder In My Heart Again hit the top of the charts. He returned to the UK spotlight when he became a contestant on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2007. "At this point in my life it'll be great for people to get to know a little bit more about me," he explained.
