Dublin-born Lorraine got her first taste of showbiz aged 15 after she was talent-spotted by Interview With The Vampire director Neil Jordan and cast in his 1991 film The Miracle. Small roles in The Last Of The High Kings and The Boxer followed, but it was her 1999 appearance in cult clubbing film Human Traffic with John Simm that really raised the London-based star's profile. Lorraine has also enjoyed small screen success in dramas such as The Clinic and Monarch Of The Glen. It was on the set of the latter that she met future husband, TV director Simon Massey. The couple, who wed in Nov 2001 and have two children, Luka and Milo, also collaborated on Irish equestrian drama Rough Diamond, in which Lorraine starred as the wife of a millionaire racehorse breeder.
