When it comes to dazzling fashions, stars can take inspiration from the glittering gowns and seductive dresses of the 2015 Golden Globes red carpet.
Gone Girl star Rosamund Pike showed off her impressive post-baby figure in a plunging off-white Vera Wang gown with sexy cutouts.
Fifty Shades of Grey star Dakota Johnson sparkled in a sequined silver number with a daring slit, while New Zealand songstress Lorde looked fresh and elegant in a sharp Narciso Rodriguez suit paired with a crop top, Neil Lane jewels and red lipstick.
It was Amal Alamuddin who had everyone talking as she made her red-carpet debut as Mrs. Clooney in black Dior haute couture paired with white opera-length gloves. The beautiful barrister had also pinned a "Je Suis Charlie" badge on her clutch bag in recognition of the mass shooting that happened in Paris at the time.
"There was only one choice; it was easy this year. I liked the colour," said Naomi Watts of her gorgeous yellow Gucci gown that she paired with a stunning serpent Bulgari necklace. Leslie Mann, too, shone bright in a strapless yellow gown paired with jade-green accessories, while Jenna Dewan-Tatum chose a beautiful buttercream dress.
But the year's hottest hue was red. From Girls stars Allison Williams and Lena Dunham to actresses Allison Janney and Helen Mirren, a number of stars chose scarlet for that year's Globes.
Another hot trend was glimmering gowns that caught the light. Leading the shimmering brigade was Jennifer Lopez, 42, who showcased her incredible figure in a gold sequinned Zuhair Murad caped dress. Also sparkling at the prestigious awards ceremony was Reese Witherspoon, who wore a silver, figure-hugging Calvin Klein dress. The actress finished off her Hollywood glamour look with side-swept waves.
