The Duchess of Cambridge kicked off 2015 with a string of dazzling royal engagements as the countdown to the royal baby’s arrival edged even closer. And he – or she! – made his or her presence known as Kate stepped out around London.
“It’s moving all the time,” Kate, 33, told onlookers as she officially opened Kensington Leisure Centre after its $53-million renovation. “I can feel it kicking now.”
But if she knows whether it’s a boy or a girl, Kate – who is entering the third trimester of her second pregnancy and is thought to be due around the same time as she and Prince William’s wedding anniversary, April 29 – is not saying. According to insiders, the couple doesn’t know the answers themselves and have no attention of finding out.
Still, those who believe a mom-to-be’s shape gives clues to the gender of a baby – an approach that admittedly relies more on anecdote than science – are increasingly convinced that Prince George will be sharing his toys with a little girl.
