Ever since Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge, née Kate Middleton, emerged from St. Mary’s Hospital with Prince George in July 2013, they’ve shared the magical experience of being first-time parents with the world.
Tenderly holding her newborn in her arms, Kate famously told reporters, “It’s very emotional. It’s such a special time. I think any parent will know what this feeling feels like.”
Since then, the royal couple have kept fans updated on their son's growth – from a wriggling “little rascal” with a “lion’s roar" to how things have gotten "a bit easier” after the first five months.
Of course, soon it will be double the fun (and double the work!) when the duke and duchess welcome a little brother or sister for George. The royal couple are set to become members of the two-under-two club, a term for parents juggling the needs of a newborn and a toddler on the cusp of joining the "terrible twos."
With just weeks to go until her due date, Kate and William will be keen to ensure that George's transition from only child to older sibling is as smooth as it can be.
But if anyone can handle it, it’s these doting, hands-on parents, who will take the lessons they’ve learned from raising their first-born and apply it to their newest family member.
As we eagerly await the birth of the royal baby, Hello! rounds up some of William and Kate’s best quotes about George and parenthood.
