At only two-months old, Princess Charlotte of Cambridge has been lavished with more attention than most people receive in a lifetime. The littlest member of the Windsor family made her second public appearance on July 5, to celebrate her baptism into the Church of England - but not without a little jig from big brotherPrince George. Here, we’ve pulled together some of the most beautiful and adorable moments shared on the special day between proud parents the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children, calm baby Charlotte and spritely toddler George.
As the sun shone on the Queen’s Sandringham estate in Norfolk, hundreds of well-wishers lined the street leading up to St. Mary Magdalene Church to catch a glimpse of the Royal Family as they made their way into the service. In the video, the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are seen chatting away with their granddaughter-in-law Kate, while Prince George amuses himself playing with the wheels of his sister’shistorical Millson carriage. The 23-month-old prince, dressed in his Sunday best – a red-and-white creation by designer Rachel Riley that called to mind William's outfit at Harry's christening - couldn’t contain his curiosity as he stood up on his tiptoes to peer in on his baby sister.
Although Charlotte’s uncle, Prince Harry, was unable to attend due to charitable commitments in Africa, the fourth in line to the throne was surrounded by a host of loved ones, including grandparents Prince Charles and Camilla and Michael and Carole Middleton. Her aunt Pippa, uncle James, five godparents and George’s nanny Maria Teresa Borrallo, who is seen running after the youngest in the video, rounded out the guest list.
