Princess Estelle of Sweden gave fans a glimpse of her spirited personality on a cool day out, flashing her million-dollar smile and giving two thumbs up to the camera in a new set of official portraits. The three-year-old daughter of Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel is seen playing in the park by the pond outside Haga castle.
In an image shared on the official Swedish Palace's Facebook account, Estelle is grinning animatedly while bundled up against the autumn chill in a padded grey coat with a knitted pink hat and matching scarf.
Other images show Estelle feeding ducks and picking up fallen leaves.
It is the first glimpse of Estelle, who is titled the Duchess of Ӧstergötland, since she joined her parents at the christening of her cousin Prince Nicolas in October. The little princess has plenty of reason to smile as she will soon have a baby brother or sister to play with in the coming months.
Estelle's parents have announced that they are expecting a second child in March 2016; the future queen has been showing off her blossoming baby bump on a number of recent royal engagements.
The 38-year-old princess has not revealed the gender of her baby, and when asked if Estelle was longing for a baby brother or sister, she quipped, "What she really wants is a hamster!"
