Princess Madeleine's son, Prince Nicolas, poses for first photo with Santa
Princess Madeleine of Sweden has shared an adorable picture of her six-month-old son's first meeting with Santa. Dressed up in beige trousers, a collared shirt and woolly jumper, little Prince Nicolas looks picture perfect perched on jolly old Saint Nick's lap.
"Nicolas is wishing everyone Happy Holidays!" Madeleine, 33, captioned the photo.
The Princess and her husband Chris O'Neill welcomed their baby boy in June. They are also parents to a daughter, Princess Leonore, who will turn two in February.
Royal fans were no doubt thrilled by the new photo of baby Nicolas, which showed just how much he has grown in recent months. The last time the public caught a glimpse of Nicolas was in October at his christening.
Madeleine and her family flew back to Sweden for the special event, which took place at Drottningholm Palace Chapel with members of the Swedish royal family in attendance.
The Princess has been living in London, where the photo of baby Nicolas and Santa was taken, after having moved from New York City for her husband's job.
Speaking about life in the public eye, Madeleine has always maintained that she likes living in London because she is more anonymous to the public. Despite growing up in the limelight, Madeleine also admitted that she doesn't like being "the centre of attention".
"I've had this all my life," Madeleine said during a television appearance on Norwegian-Swedish talk show Skavlan. "One would think, and maybe expect, that I'd be comfortable in front of people, photographers and journalists who ask questions. But I'm really not, I'm quite shy."
"I don't like being the centre of attention," she added. "But as an official person I am, this is something I have to deal with. I'm struggling with it. I'm working on it. I'm here today!"
