The Duchess of Cambridge's sporty moments

The mother of three showed off her tennis skills while on a visit to Coach Core in Essex with Prince William. Kate wore an all-black ensemble, including Aquatalia booties with small heels, as she took on the role of sports coach for the children who are involved in the program, launched three years ago by the Royal Foundation. The duchess has always loved tennis and is a regular in the Wimbledon stands each year, though she and William told Novak Djokovic this year that they're still trying to get a tennis racket in George and Charlotte's hands - and a football!

Clad in a cozy yet chic red-and-white ski jacket by KJUS Duana and a fluffy white Barts Jasmine Beanie, Kate was dressed to impress as the couple visited the Holmenkollen ski jump.

Her husband may have beat her two goals to one, but competitive Kate still had a blast playing "bandy" hockey in Sweden on the couple's royal tour in 2018. The Duchess's pregnancy didn't slow her down one bit!

The Duchess of Cambridge hit the court on Oct. 31 to participate in a tennis workshop at the Lawn Tennis Association. The royal, who is patron of the organization, even took a turn coaching the kids!

Run Kate! The duchess tried her best to keep up with husband Prince William and Prince Harry during a friendly sprint at London's Queen Elizabeth stadium. There were no losers in this race, as it raised awareness for mental health programs.

On their first day in Bhutan, Prince William and Kate took in a competitive archery match before being invited to try their hands at the country's national sport. The sporty duchess aimed her arrow at the target rather intensely before appearing highly amused as it veered off course.

She may have been wearing wedge heels, but that didn't stop Kate from smacking a cricket ball at an engagement in Mumbai on the first day (Apr. 10) of her tour with Prince William. Despite her great show of athleticism hitting a ball bowled by legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, the duchess was caught out on the next ball.

One of the shared passions which originally brought William and Kate together was their mutual love of sport. So it's no surprise to see Kate join in the fun from time to time.
