Fans are clamouring for the release of ITV's highly anticipated documentary to mark the Queen's 90th birthday. The two-hour film, Our Queen at Ninety, will air on Sunday Mar. 27 at 8pm.
The documentary is set to feature interviews from many key figures in Her Majesty's life, including her son Prince Charles, his wife Camilla, and the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – who will give her first ever interview as a royal.
The producers of the programme, Oxford Film and Television, have been granted close access to the work of Her Majesty and other key royals across the UK and overseas during the last year. In addition, leading national and international figures will feature as well as material from the most comprehensive international film archives.
It is just one of many special projects planned to commemorate the Queen's milestone birthday on 21 April. Ant and Dec are confirmed to host The Queen's 90th Birthday Celebration, which will be broadcast live on ITV in May.
This National Celebratory Event will take place in the presence of The Queen and will be hosted by Royal Windsor Horse Show in the private grounds of Windsor Castle.
The event will see the best of British talent join more than 900 horses and 1500 participants for what promises to be a spectacular evening. The Celebration will tell the story of The Queen's remarkable life from her birth in 1926, through WWII, to her Coronation in 1953 and a reign spanning more than 60 years.
Ant and Dec said: "We are honoured to be hosting this special celebration of Her Majesty The Queen's 90th Birthday. This spectacular evening will bring together some of the best known names in the entertainment world who will perform with 900 horses and 1500 participants to mark this very special birthday."
