They are some of the world's most beautiful and admired women and men, so it's fitting that they too grace the covers of magazines alongside Hollywood bombshells and super models.
From Princess Diana's stunning Vanity Fair portrait, her last before her untimely death in 1997, to Queen Elizabeth posing with her beloved corgis, here are some of the most striking magazine covers featuring royals from around the world.

Prince Harry took a turn as a cover model for Town & Country's February 2017 issue. The 31-year-old invited the magazine along on his trip to Malawi, where he assisted African Parks with its 500 Elephants relocation project.

A never-before-seen portrait of the Queen and her beloved corgis appears on the summer 2016 issue of Vanity Fair. The image is part of a series shot by the magazine's contributing photographer Annie Leibovitz in celebration of the monarch's 90th birthday earlier this year.
This isn't the first time that one of Annie's pictures of the Queen has made it on the cover of the publication. Her Majesty sat for the American photographer back in 2007 in honour of the 400th anniversary of the founding of Jamestown.

The Duchess of Cambridge made a surprise appearance on the June 2016 issue of British Vogue. Josh Olins photographed the mother of two in celebration of the publication's 100th anniversary. It marked the first time Kate posed for a magazine cover.

One month before her tragic death in August 1997, Diana, Princess of Wales graced the cover of Vanity Fair. The beautiful portrait was shot by her close friend Mario Testino, who has become one of Prince William's go-to photographers.

Shortly after marrying Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark in 2004, Princess Mary posed for her native Australia's edition of Vogue magazine. The editorial spread, shot by Regan Cameron at both Amalienborg palace and Fredensborg palace, took three days to complete.

Tatler crowned Lady Amelia Windsor the royal family's most beautiful member in April 2016. The 20-year-old dazzled in a printed gown by Canadian-born designer Erdem.
The university student is the granddaughter of the Queen's cousin, Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and is currently 36th in line to succeed to the British throne.
