Queen Elizabeth's 90th Birthday: Family first

Though she's crossed paths with the world's most powerful leaders, counts a who's who of celebrities in her fan club and hobnobs with international royalty on the regular, it is the Queen's family that brings her the most joy. She enjoyed a special relationship with her grandfather, King George V, and little sister Margaret Rose, whom she nicknamed "Bud," and with a growing legacy of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, there is nothing the monarch loves more than spending time with her family. From the balcony at Buckingham Palace to watch the RAF Flypast during Trooping the Colour to intimate Christmases at her Sandringham country estate, "Gan-Gan" cherishes each and every one of her beloved relations. As she celebrates her 90th birthday, we look back on the Queen's family life, from her years growing up as a princess to her record-breaking reign as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
