Félix and Claire announced their engagement in December 2012 and married the following September. They had a civil wedding in Konigstein im Taunus followed by a religious ceremony a few days later in the Basillica of Sainte Marie-Madeleine in Sainte-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, France.
Since the wedding they have resided in the south of France, at the Chateau Les Crostes, a winery that's been in Claire's family for many years.
Last year the happy family marked Amalia's first birthday with a series of official portraits – showing just how quickly their little girl is growing up.
In the stunning shots both parents are dressed casually, leaving the spotlight firmly on their little princess. Amalia wore a pretty floral dress and white tights, and was seen staring innocently at the camera.
In one particularly heart-warming picture, little Amalia stared lovingly up at proud father Félix as he and Claire beamed ahead.
We can't wait to see the first official pictures of Félix, Claire, Amalia and the new baby!
