Rania's own children have also reached milestones of their own; the Queen's eldest son Prince Hussein graduated from university in May, a moment she described as a "very special day". While it is expected the Jordanian queen will mark her special day privately, she will be straight back to work in launching her own brand of local innovation in the upcoming Design Week Amman, which starts on Thursday. The event acts as a platform for the exchange of local and global designs, and will provide an opportunity for networking amongst design communities in the region.
