It's likely that the royals will celebrate in private with their families and friends.
Harry is back in the UK, having spent the summer working on conservation projects in Africa. The eligible bachelor made a secret visit to an HIV hospital in East London last week, and he already has a few engagements scheduled for autumn – not to mention a tour of the Caribbean on behalf of his grandmother the Queen.

In previous years Harry has hosted birthday parties at Clarence House, partying with his amicable ex-girlfriends Cressida Bonas and Chelsy Davy, as well as Burn singer Ellie Goulding who performed one time.
It's believed that Harry will spend the day celebrating in London, catching up with friends and partying in his usual stomping ground Chelsea.
As for Prince Daniel, the Swedish prince will most likely mark his day with his wife Victoria and the couple's two children – four-year-old Princess Estelle and baby Prince Oscar, who was born in March.
Queen Letizia of Spain will also have her husband King Felipe, and the couple's two daughters Princesses Leonor and Sofia, on hand to celebrate.
