The Swedish royal family released this new family portrait of Alexander with his brother and parents Carl Philip and Sofia ahead of the Gabriel's christening in November 2017. In an interview after the arrival of their youngest son, the couple opened up about the “chaos” of raising two boys. “We try to create as much family time as possible in the evenings, with bathing and knighting and getting on site routine,” Sofia said in a new interview with Kupé magazine. “But ask me again in a few months.”

And baby makes three! A day after Sweden's Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip welcomed their first child, Prince Alexander, on April 19, the Swedish Royal Palace shared the first photo of the new family featuring the little royal fast asleep in his car seat. Along with the picture, the palace stated that the trio were "doing well" and that first-time parents were "looking forward" to bonding with their child.
