Prince George’s favourite things

Planes and helicopters, royal pup Lupo, Princess Charlotte and dinosaurs – these are just a few of Prince George's favourite things!
The future king, who turns four on July 22, is as curious as he is adventurous, and his list of beloved hobbies and interests reflect his sprightly spirit.
Here, we roundup some of George's go-to games and activities. -- By Alyssa Ashton

Bubbles
Prince George had the best time at a children’s party in Victoria during the Cambridges' royal tour of Canada in 2016. There was a petting zoo, music and tons of bubbles! When the little prince arrived at the event, he headed straight for a bubble gun in the shape of a fish and was quick to spray his sister Princess Charlotte.

Stickers
He may be royal, but he’s just like any other four-year-old kid in that he loves stickers. At an event at the Royal Marsden Hospital, Prince William met a three-year-old girl who was putting stickers on paper. He said to her, “George likes doing his stickers. He is big into his stickers.” The royal dad revealed George has a particular fondness for dinosaur stickers.

Princess Charlotte
The royal siblings are adorably close. At a royal engagement, Duchess Kate told a fellow mom that her children are becoming “very good friends.” And while George may be older, he lets his little sister call all the shots.

Fireman Sam
Peppa Pig used to be George’s favourite show, but he’s sadly outgrown the piglet and is now obsessed with Fireman Sam. During a radio interview, Prince William revealed that his son takes his TV shows very seriously and expects his parents to love the characters as much as he does. At a charity shop, a few months earlier, Kate picked up a Fireman Sam book for her son saying the series is his “favourite.”

Dinosaurs
It's a good thing Kensington Palace is just down the street from the Natural History Museum because George loves dinosaurs! During an official visit to the museum, Kate revealed that George would have loved to come to the event because he adores prehistoric reptiles. He’s learning about dinos at school and the royal mum revealed his favourite is the T-rex because it’s “the nosiest and scariest.”

Polo
Wanting to be just like his dad and uncle Harry, George has developed a fondness for polo. The little prince is already showing a passion for the sport and has his very own mini-mallet. While chatting with field hockey player Alexandra Danson, Kate said George is interested in playing polo but she is hoping he inherits her love of field hockey instead.

Volcanoes
Prince George doesn’t want a balloon in the shape of a dog or snake—he wants a volcano. During the children’s party in British Columbia, the young royal asked an entertainer to make him a volcano with lava balloon. He was later seen excitedly showing it off to his Mum.

Planes and helicopters
Prince William has shared his passion for planes with his son. Prince George’s first royal engagement in the U.K was at the Royal International Air Tattoo where he got to explore different aircrafts.
Later that year, he got to ride in a seaplane while departing from Victoria at the end of the Canadian tour. When the royals landed, George climbed into the pilot’s seat and played with the controls. He told Kate “I’m going to fly us to England.”

Anything with wheels
Tractors, trains, trucks, bicycles—if it has wheels, George is a fan. Kate said at an engagement in North Wales that George is obsessed with "anything with big wheels.” George even has his own mini tractor that he likes to ride around the lawns at Anmer Hall.
While in Canada, the royal couple saw a new fire service truck and William was overheard telling Sophie Trudeau that George "would be obsessed with that.”
The youngster recently got his very own bike and Kate told cyclists in Luxembourg that he and Charlotte are always excited to go riding.

Spaghetti
Prince George’s favourite food isn’t fish and chips or chocolate cake, it’s spaghetti. While visiting a youth project in Luton, Kate told a group of teens that George absolutely loves eating spaghetti, but he’s not exactly a tidy eater. When all four of the Cambridges came to Canada for a royal tour, Justin Trudeau's wife Sophie made sure the young royals could enjoy their favourite meals while staying at Victoria House, including spaghetti Bolognese for George.

Lupo
Lupo has been Prince George’s best friend since the day he was born. The royal pup is front and centre in family pictures and is often seen sitting right next to George, guarding the little guy. Their sweet bond was on display in George’s third birthday portraits, when the young prince offered Lupo a taste of his ice cream.

Arts and crafts
If you’re a special person in George’s life, then you are likely the proud owner of one of his masterpieces. George gave his Gan-Gan, the Queen, one of his art projects for her 91st birthday. His proud mum, who has a degree in art history, has said “George is good at arts and crafts.”

Baby chicks
Prince George is a big fan of the country life he gets to enjoy at his family’s home in Norfolk. The family have five chickens at Anmer Hall and recently had an incubator of eggs. While the Duchess of Cambridge was visiting a farm in Gloucester, she talked about how George and Charlotte are “very excited” for the chicks to hatch.
