The British royal couple have made campaigning on mental health issues one of the central themes of their public working lives. Their Heads Together mental health campaign saw a series of events staged last year to encourage Britons to talk about their psychological problems or provide a sympathetic ear for others.

Both Kate and Princess Victoria greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek. While Kate opted for red houndstooth, her host wore a chic pink coat over a soft teal two-piece suit. The Swedish royal accessorised her outfit with a Stella McCartney clutch.

Queen Rania wished her son Prince Hashem - who shares a birthday with her husband King Abdullah – a very happy birthday as the young royal turned 13 on January 30. Posting this new portrait on Instagram, she captioned it simply, "Happy birthday to my youngest, my prince, Hashem."

Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia of Sweden took a night off from parenting their sons — Princes Alexander and Gabriel — to attend the annual Swedish Sports Awards Gala held at the Ericsson Globe Arena on Jan. 15 in Stockholm. The pair’s brother-in-law Prince Daniel was forced to cancel his appearance at the event because of a severe cold.

Five months after the horrific terrorist attacks in Barcelona, Spanish royalty Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI stepped out to honor victims of the heartbreaking incident for their bravery.
The prestigious couple attended the Victims of Terrorism Foundation Awards at the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid on Monday (Jan. 15). Having aided in the aftermath, the compassionate royals showed up yet again to pay their respects to those involved. The 45-year-old Queen and her 49-year-old King took to the stage to present special awards to the victims from that day.

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark stopped by the new "Christmas Market-home" for its inauguration. The Christmas Market homes aim to help children in need, who need help tackling bullying, loneliness and low self-esteem. The homes can house up to 48 children at a time.
