While in Montreal – the last stop on their royal tour – Mathilde and Philippe paid a visit to a local skating rink, where kids showed off their skills. The royals received some Montreal Canadien's memorabilia.

O Canada! King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium have touched down for a week-long state visit to the Great White North - the country's first since King Baudouin met former Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau 40 years ago. In addition to roundtables and business meetings, the packed itinerary sees the chic couple visiting the National Gallery of Canada, a traditional sugar shack, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, exploring Toronto's MaRS Discovery District and enjoying a concert in Montreal. Braving the tail end of a frosty Canadian winter, Queen Mathilde is sure to dazzle with her fashion-forward winter style!

The Queen and King were well-prepared for the Ottawa chill! Mathilde looked winter-chic in a brown fur-lined coat, paired with a sophisticated pair of grey checked trousers. Her husband looked equally classy in a brown overcoat and beige pants.
The two took a stroll through the forest surrounding Richelieu Park Sugar Shack, where they had a taste of fresh maple syrup on Mar. 12.

The royal couple paid a sombre visit to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, a tourism staple in Ottawa honouring lives lost in service of the country.
