Prince Williams reveals that Prince George has chosen his dream job

One day Prince George will be king, but for now his childhood dreams are not much different from most kids his age. Prince William recently revealed that his son is hoping to one day don a police officer’s badge! While at a Kensington Palace reception honouring Scotland Yard – the headquarters of the London Metropolitan Police – the royal shared the adorable news.

Police Commissioner Jayne Richardson told the proud father that the local police force was looking for recruits, “We are recruiting, actually, so if George and Charlotte are keen?” Going along with the joke, the father of two responded, “[George] is obsessed, actually, by the police… Cars, toys, everything!”

And this isn’t a new obsession for little George! Last Christmas, he had one big request from Santa Clause: a police car! His dad even hand-delivered his sweet letter to Saint Nick himself while visiting Helsinki, Finland, telling him “I’ve seen you and I had to give you this letter. He hasn’t written down many requests, so I think one request is probably ok.”

Clearly, George aspires to protect his community, and soon he’ll have another young sibling to care for! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are eagerly awaiting their third bundle of joy, who is set to join the Royal Family at the end of April. An exact due date isn’t known, but an inside told the Sun that “the Duchess is working off a date around St George’s Day… or if she’s very late, as she was with George’s birth, she could even make it a very special wedding anniversary present to William, as they celebrate seven years of marriage on April 29.”
