While the celebrations leading up to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding day on May 19 have been kept tightly under wraps, details have emerged suggesting that Harry will be taking his bachelor party down south with his brother and some of his closest friends – one of whom is scouting out chic hotels in Mexico, says Vanity Fair.
As the Mirror reported, Meghan and close friends enjoyed a subdued spa retreat over the March 4 weekend in London to celebrate their American bachelorette. But a friend says that Harry’s plans are looking to be quite different. Armed with brother Prince William and best friend Tom Inskip as his planning committee, this is shaping up to be one incredible stag do, as they call it over the pond.
Just last week, Harry’s BFF was spotted in the Latin American country checking out a boutique hotel as the perfect venue for Harry’s last hurrah. “Tom is in charge of finding the location. It has to be somewhere they won’t be found and a place they can completely take over,” a friend told Vanity Fair. “Tom was checking out this fabulous place in Mexico last week and he loved it. It might be a step too far for everyone to go to Mexico, but it’s one of the places on the wish list.”
Though the 34-year-old prince was well-known for his partying ways when he was younger, the royal has certainly calmed down since meeting the love of his life. Now, he’s more focused on his royal engagements, living a healthy lifestyle, putting work into his various charitable endeavors – like the Heads Together campaign and Invictus Games – and starting a new life with Meghan.
