Did Victoria Beckham just confirm that she’ll be attending the royal wedding?

Say you’ll be there, Victoria Beckham! The designer is the latest celebrity guest to score a seat at the royal wedding and watch Meghan Markle and Prince Harry exchange vows, which she seemed to confirm on an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden on Thursday night (Apr. 12).

When asked if she’d be spotted in the pews, Victoria responded, “I, ummm, I don’t know.” But James was quick to jump in and confirm for her, saying, “She’s totally going” as fellow guest Shaquille O’Neal nodded in agreement. The 43-year-old went on, skirting around the question. “Yes, England is so excited. It’s great, isn’t it? They look so happy,” she gushed.

Though the mother of four didn’t officially confirm, she wouldn’t be a surprising addition to the roster, considering the Beckham clan has close ties with the Royal Family, having also been at the Dukeand Duchess of Cambridge’s nuptial back in 2011. While the royal grapevine speculated that Victoria may be designing Meghan’s wedding gown, the former singer set the record straight, “Sadly, I’m not. But I am sure she will look incredible.”

Everything we know about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal wedding

Though Posh Spice won’t be creating Meghan’s wedding day look, the Suits alum is a huge fan of her elegant designs, having donned her threads on numerous occasions. Most recently, Meghan stunned in an elegant cream sweater by Victoria Beckham while stepping out with Harry in Northern Ireland. But what royal watchers may not have noticed is that this very sweater was also worn in the duo’s iconic engagement photos back in November. If that’s not a sign of brand loyalty, we don’t know what is!

The couple’s big day at Windsor Castle is bound to go down as one of the most unforgettable royal weddings in history. Unlike Prince William and Kate’s elegant line up of foreign royals, Commonwealth governors-general, ambassadors, senior religious figures and politicians, Meghan and Harry’s guest list is going to look a bit different. They’ve invited 1,200 members of the public to join them in celebration on May 19, and have chosen not to invite political figures like Teresa May, Donald Trump, Justin Trudeau or the Obamas, given that Harry is only fifth in line to the throne. And with Meghan’s Hollywood connections and Harry’s famous friends, it’s bound to be an A-list affair!
