Baby love! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge released two new photos of newborn Prince Louis on May 5, one of which features Princess Charlotte giving her little brother a tender kiss. The photos, shared by Kensington Palace on social media, were taken by their proud mom Kate and celebrate Louis's birth as well as his big sister's third birthday. The royal cuties posed in the family's London home, with their newest member clad in his sister's hand-me-down white outfit by Spanish label Irulea.
The palace captioned the photos: “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share two photographs of Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, taken by The Duchess at Kensington Palace.” Of the first they said, “This image was taken on 2nd May, on Princess Charlotte’s third Birthday.”
Charlotte wore the same knit outfit in her first official portraits, also taken by her mom but in their Norfolk home on June 6, 2015. The four-piece set by the San Sebastien-based brand, which also includes a pair of booties and a bonnet, was a gift from the children's nanny, Maria Teresa Turrion Borralo, and retails for $357. In the new shots, Louis's big sister wears a blue fair isle cardigan that's also recycled - the cozy piece once belonged to her older brother George, who wore it in one of the Queen's 90th birthday portraits back in 2016.
Prince Louis looks alert and adorable at just a few days old in his solo portrait, lounging on a white ruffled pillow and looking off to the side at just nine days old. His rosy cheeks are on full display and he has a light dusting of brown hair.
The latest glimpses of the Cambridge kiddies were taken on May 2, the princess's third birthday. And if the sweet image of the little ones looks familiar, it's because we've seen a royal sibling smooch before. In 2015 when the first portraits of baby Charlotte were released, one of the photographs showed proud big brother George bestowing a gentle kiss on his baby sister.

Princess Charlotte was last seen on the day Prince Louis was born, April 23, 2018, when she and Prince George walked from their Land Rover into the Lindo Wing with dad Prince William. The little girl stole the show when she turned back on the steps to wave to the crowds of adoring fans.
