The American trailblazer, who is the first black presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church, was praised by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, ahead of the service as a “brilliant pastor, stunning preacher.” He read his sermon, titled The Power of Love, off an iPad and wove a rich tapestry of ideas for an audience that included Meghan's mom Doria Ragland, Prince Charles, the Queen and Duchess Kate, drawing from Dr. Martin Luther King and French thinker Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, among others, and speaking of love, religion and racism.

The reactions of the Royal Family, who aren't used to such a spirited type of preaching, were among the most viral moments of the day. Watch the entire sermon and see their reactions below!
