Meghan Markle went from Hollywood star to British royalty in a matter of two years after meeting Prince Harry and falling head-over-heels in love with him. Sound like a modern day fairy tale? Just look at the snapshots of the Suits alum in her Clare Waight Keller for Givenchy gown at their royal wedding on Saturday (May 19). The internet quickly jumped on the new Duchess of Sussex's likeness to a certain Disney princess, comparing her to the iconic Cinderella. Well, if the glass slipper fits...

While the Givenchy creation is traditional with a modern twist, it has an undeniable resemblance to Cinderella's white off-the-shoulder gown. And Twitter quickly caught on, with many royal watchers taking to social media to share the shockingly similar photos of the former actress with her new husband Prince Harry.

One Twitter user posted side-by-side shots of Meghan on the West Steps of St. George's Chapel, as well as the new couple during their carriage procession, writing, "Real life fairytale #RoyalWedding," while another royal fan shared an image of Cinderella with the caption, "Her dress looks just like Cinderella's I'm not crying you're crying". They look just like the Disney couple, Cinderella and Prince Charming!

But the new Duchess of Sussex looked like a princess all in her own right. As eager fans waited for days around Windsor for the big reveal, some lucky ones managed to catch a quick glimpse of Meghan and her mom, Doria Ragland, driving to Windsor Castle in a maroon Rolls Royce. It was in that moment that the world spotted Meghan as a beautiful bride for the first time, her veil draped over the dazzling Queen Mary's diamond bandeau tiara. And as the day drew to a close, the couple drove off to their second wedding reception in a vintage Jaguar convertible to begin their happily ever after!
