Meghan Markle to join the Royal Family on the balcony again – but one key member will be missing

By Meaghan Wray

The Buckingham Palace balcony always makes for the most cherished photos of Britain’s Royal Family. Fans adore seeing the entire clan together, which is a rarity given their individually busy schedules. And while Duchess Kate will miss the Kodak moment during the Royal Air Force engagement on July 10, another duchess will be in attendance: Meghan Markle!

The event is bound to make for some sweet snaps. Much like Trooping the Colour, which was the first time Meghan set foot on the iconic balcony, the family will enjoy taking in a flypast overhead and Feu de Joie, a rifle salute fired by soldiers during the ceremony.

The Queen will certainly be in attendance, but Kate will still be on maternity leave and tending to her adorable trio of kids – Prince George, 4, Princess Charlotte, 3, and two-month-old Prince Louis. While the mother of three will be missed, the event will still be one to watch!

The official roster of royals attending the ceremony will include the new Duke and Duchess of Susses along with Prince William, Prince Charles, the Duchess of Cornwall, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex. Whether Princess Anne and Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie will be in attendance isn’t known. Prince Harry and Meghan will then set off on their visit to Ireland.

It’s always an exciting time when the Queen addresses the public, which she’ll do at the end of the ceremony to present a new Queen’s Colour to the RAF at the palace, accompanied by Prince Charles. Of particular note will be the likely dazzling outfits that the royal women will choose to don for the momentous affair. Will Meghan turn to her new royal uniform for her look or surprise royal watchers with something unexpected?

Fans will have the chance to spot the Cambridge family together the day before on July 9, when little Louis is baptised at St. James’s Palace in London at 11 am. It will be their first appearance as a family of five!
