Kids do the darnedest things! While the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were on day two of their royal tour in Ireland, the cutest moment happened between a cheeky little boy and Meghan Markle. While paying a visit to Croke Park, three-year-old Walter Cullen reached out to tug her hair – and Prince Harry’s reaction was priceless.
While out on the field of Ireland’s largest sporting organization, Meghan – ever the charmer of children – stopped to chat with little Walter. Turning her back for just one moment, the cutie reached out to touch her beautiful hair. Playful Harry then pretended to scold the boy, appearing to shake his finger at him. But it was all in good fun, and the trio were grinning from ear to ear!
Though the lovebirds only just said “I do” two months ago, royal watchers are eager to know when the duke and duchess will start growing their family. They mustn’t be in any rush, given their jam-packed schedule as newlyweds, but they did mention wanting to have children at some point. “You know, one step at a time. Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future,” the 34-year-old prince told the BBC in their engagement interview. While the couple were out in Belfast before their nuptials, they paid a visit to a science park where they met the couple behind the baby product brand Schnuggle. Gesturing to the baby items, Harper’s Bazaar reports, the Suits alum mused, “I’m sure at some point we’ll need the whole thing.”
This marked Meghan and Harry’s second stop on the last day of their tour of the Emerald Isle. First stepping out for a meeting with Ireland’s President, Michael Higgins, and his wife, Sabina Coyne, the duchess dazzled in a grey Roland Mouret dress, black heels and a matching tote bag. A quick outfit change saw her rock a classic Meghan look: a black Givenchy pantsuit with a simple white top underneath.
On top of being a lover of children, the 36-year-old is also well known for her adoration of her canine companions! While chatting with the politician, the former actress got to spend some time with his two big, beautiful Bernese Mountain Dogs. She was clearly overjoyed, and perhaps missing her own adopted pup Guy waiting for her back in London.
