Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had the wedding of the year, so they're sure to have plenty of advice to give to her close friend Priyanka Chopra and her new fiancé Nick Jonas. The two couples reportedly enjoyed a double date in England recently when the Quantico star and the "Jealous" singer popped by the Sussexes' country home in Oxfordshire to catch up, a source told Us Weekly.
The two pairs are said to have hung out on the same week that the 25-year-old popped the question to Priyanka on her 36th birthday, following a whirlwind two-month romance. Nick had reportedly shut down a Tiffany's store in New York before the two jaunted to London to find the perfect ring for his love, who said yes according to People.
Though little is know of what the the foursome got up to, it's a good guess that there was home-cooked food involved. Meghan is a self-proclaimed foodie and homebody who loves to entertain, and it's well known that she and Prince Harry were roasting a chicken when he asked her to be his wife. Perhaps she's added a few British dishes to her repertoire?
Whatever they got up to, Meghan is surely over the moon for her close friend, who was beaming from the pews at the former actress's royal wedding in Windsor in May. "Every choice made at this wedding by you both will go down in history, not just because it was your wedding, but because this incredible wedding stood for change and hope...both things that the world needs desperately," she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the bride and groom, commemorating their special day. According to a source who spoke to E! News, the Duchess of Sussex is "very excited" for her friend, who she met in 2016 at a dinner. "Everyone is very happy and they are definitely a great match."
Hopefully Meghan, 36, and Harry, 33, will be able to share in their friends' big day. They'll be spending Meghan's birthday at another friend's wedding, Charlie Van Straubenzee, who is marrying Daisy Jenks on Aug. 4. The duke is best man at the festivities after Charlie reportedly acted as one of the ushers at Harry and Meghan's nuptials.
