What do Justin Bieberand the Queen have in common? Not much, one would think, but the Canadian’s reported new investment comes with a perk that Her Majesty would love. According to reports, the 24-year-old has purchased a mansion in Cambridge, Ontario, outfitted with its very own royal-approved horse racing track and stables.
The Stratford native allegedly dropped a whopping $5 million on the stunning waterfront estate in small-town Ontario, TMZ reports. Sitting at the edge of Puslinch Lake, the jaw-dropping C-shaped mansion is surrounded by green forest. He’s recently been spending quite a bit of time there with his supermodel fiancé Hailey Baldwin, 21, taking a break in the country from life in the public eye.
Boasting 101 acres, Justin’s new love nest features private lake access, a two-story wine room, a private gym and heated floors. As if the kilometer-long race track wasn’t impressive enough, TMZ reports that the 9,000-square-foot space fits four bedrooms, six bathrooms, three fireplaces, a game room and a movie theatre, along with a three-car garage for his car collection.
John Kastner, manager of the Stratford Perth Museum where the singer’s exhibit has been set up, told The Toronto Star that the purchase makes complete sense for the “Never Say Never” singer. “I get the sense that he’s comfortable in Southern Ontario because he’s spent a lot of time here this summer,” John mused. It must be the Canadian hospitality that keeps Justin returning to his home country, and we’re willing to bet that it’s won over Hailey’s heart, too – just like her fiancé did.
The two got engaged on July 7 following a lavish proposal during their vacation in the Bahamas. “The proposal was a very happy moment and Hailey was taken off guard,” a source told E! News . “It was a sudden decision but Justin always knew Hailey and him had a special bond that was incomparable.” Since then, the gorgeous duo have been keeping up appearances, stopping for ice cream while in Stratford and hanging out with Justin’s little sibling.
