If Prince Harry’s sweet interactions with children at any of his many royal engagements says anything, it’s that he must make a wonderful uncle to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. And though he likely has close bonds with all three of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge ’s children, it’s clear that he and George have something special that glues them together – and it’s their shared love for the Disney film, The Lion King, he revealed at the WellChild Awards on Tuesday (Sept. 4), as reported by HELLO!.

While chatting with Chloe Henderson, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex opened up about their own cherished Disney film picks. While Meghan said she has “always loved The Little Mermaid,” Harry said he just loves the jungle-themed animated movie, showing off his knowledge of the film by saying: “You know who does the voice of Zazu? Rowan Atkinson, who plays Mr. Bean!”
The ten-year-old was one of many recipients of the impressive award, which honours youth in the UK battling serious illness and inspiring kids around them. Back in 2014, Chloe became the first disable child in the UK to pass her pre-primary ballet award with the prestigious Royal Academy of Dance. In true Harry fashion, the 34-year-old prince told Chloe and her older sister, Hana: “We want to come ‘round your house for movie night.” Much to Chloe’s delight, she agreed: “You’d be very welcome.”
It’s clear that the newlyweds, who said “I do” on May 19, have watched quite a few Disney flicks in their time together! They told the little girl that they also love Zootropolis and Moana, with the duke revealing his favourite scene was “when the chicken [Heihei] comes up and finds himself out at sea in a boat.” The 37-year-old, who celebrated her birthday exactly a month ago, gave Chloe a little sneak peek into their life, sharing that Harry loved the film Ballerina because the main character has red hair – just like Chloe!
Stepping out for the second time since their relaxing summer vacationing around Europe, the duke and duchess looked happier than ever at the touching ceremony. Last week, the duo attended a gala presentation of the hit musical Hamilton at London’s Victoria Palace Theatre in support of Harry’s charity, Sentebale. They looked happy and at ease – truly living the Hakuna Matata life!
