Princess Eugenie and Jack’s wedding china will be much different from Prince Harry and Meghan’s

By Meaghan Wray

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s special day is a mere two weeks away, and another detail has reportedly been released to whet the appetites of royal watchers who are eager for news! Much like the commemorative china released for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding, similar collectables, produced by the Royal Collection Trust, will allow the princess’s adoring fans to remember this important day.

And just like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s beautiful pieces, Eugenie and Jack’s will share similar symbols of their love and relationship. The nearly newlyweds wanted to make sure to include an homage to their shared home of Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace, so they included garlands of ivy, as well as forget-me-nots, English wild bluebells and, of course, the white rose of York as the most perfect finishing touch.

One obviously similar aspect between these collectables are their stunning entwined monograms, as well as the classic coronet that sits on top of the cursive letters. The gold accents on both sets of china are also an elegant feature that the two have in common, but there are a couple of major differences. For starters, Harry and Meghan’s china is cornflower blue with white detailing, while Eugenie’s are white and multi-coloured. And fans of the Royal Family had many more china options to choose from after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s wedding day (like pill boxes, wedding plates, candles and a commemorative coin), though they’re still bound to find something they like to celebrate the Princess of York’s nuptials.

But as different as their wedding china is, there are many things alike about this wonderful day that they’re sharing with the world! For starters, the 28-year-old and her beau will be saying “I do” at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, the same historic venue that saw her cousin and his Suits alum wife exchange vows in. Members of the public will also be welcomed at the nuptials, and the rest of their roster of guests is likely to be just as star-studded, with rumoured attendees like David and Victoria Beckham, George and Amal Clooney and Kate Moss. Unlike the Sussexes, Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter has planned a two-day celebration to ring in this next chapter of her life, which reportedly includes a fair-themed brunch on Saturday with rides, cocktails and bumper cars! We love that Eugenie and Jack’s fun personalities will be shining through on the most important day of their lives.
