Meghan Markle has a very close relationship with her mom, Doria Ragland, who recently made the trip across the pond to support her daughter as she launched her first solo charity project, Together: Our Community Cookbook. But it seems the yoga instructor has made an impression on royal watchers, too, and was the topic of conversation when the duchess had a sweet interaction with fan Jennifer, who goes by @LadySassington on Twitter, as first reported by HELLO!.
Jennifer shared her conversation with the royal, of whom she's a huge fan. "Me: 'Will you tell your Mum I love her?' Meghan: little gasp! 'Oh I will! We have that in common, don't we?'" She also revealed that telling the 37-year-old how much she loves her mother wasn't something she came up with on the spot, tweeting, "I knew exactly what I wanted to say to Meghan, I’d planned it a couple of days ago. I really hope she passes the message along."

The royal fan was also taken by Meghan's charismatic husband, who was particularly sweet with the children during the couple's walkabout. "Harry took flowers from the little girl next to us, and gave one back to her," Jennifer said. "Made a little girls day! She then gave it to Meghan." They also delighted gaggles of schoolchildren as they spent time chatting with them and received an adorable handmade guide to Sussex from one class in particular.
Outside The Prebendal School, student Tilly Palmer, 9, excitedly recounted a conversation she had with the Duchess of Sussex. "Meghan asked me what we were doing today," she said. "I said netball, and she said they don't have that in the USA. We said, 'Welcome to Sussex', and she shook our hands. She was lovely and very pretty. One of my classmates gave her a bunch of red roses."
Meghan actually got her official introduction to netball last week while attending the Coach Core Awards at Loughborough University. Clad in heels, the former actress participated in netball drills and team exercises with honourees and students. And she's sure learn plenty new skills when the Sussexes embark on their biggest trip to date - a royal tour of Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand, which kicks off on Oct. 16!
