It’s bound to be an exciting event for the 36-year-old, who has long loved the view from behind the lens, especially when taking some of the most beautiful photos of her children ! The duchess became a patron of the museum last year when she helped open its courtyard, entrance and gallery on Exhibition Road. At the special occasion, Prince William’s wife wore a gorgeous Gucci ensemble , complete with a matching red clutch and her signature curls – this time, worn in a half-up, half-down style.

Duchess Kate’s passion for photography was strengthened during her studies at the University of St. Andrews, from which she graduated in 2005 with a degree in art history (and also where she met her prince!). Her artistic patronage – announced just before she went on maternity leave for her third child, Prince Louis – was a big first for the Royal Family, who typically get involved with matters of science, mental health and education, among other topics. But the mother of three always makes sure to combine all of her passions into one.As a patron also of The National Portrait Gallery and The Art Room, Kate gets to help use art to build childrens’ self-esteem, confidence and independence.

Similarly, the adventurous royal loves nature and being active, so it was only fitting that her return to duty involved kids and the great outdoors! Her visit to London’s Sayers Croft Forest School was full of adorable Kodak moments. She helped the children water their pea plants, chatted with their teachers and even joined in on some relaxing story time. Before leaving, all of the children lined up to say goodbye to Kate – with one little girl really stealing the show… And a hug or two !
