Easily one of the best parts of this week’s royal wedding will be the adorable bridal party who follow Princess Eugenie down the aisle at St. George’s Chapel. With her Oct. 12 nuptials to Jack Brooksbank just days away, the last of the details have been released – and it’s promising to be an event royal fans will never forget thanks to the gaggle of royal cuties listed among the six bridesmaids and two pageboys!
On Oct. 12 at Windsor Castle, Prince George and Princess Charlotte will step into their big roles as pageboy and bridesmaid for the event – roles they’ve played a few times before for Auntie Pippa Middleton, uncle Prince Harry and, just this summer, Duchess Kate’s friend Sophie Carter. Joining in on the fun are their close cousins, seven-year-old Savannah Phillips and six-year-old Isla Phillips , the daughters of Autumn and Peter Phillips, as well as Zara and Mike Tindall’s firstborn Mia Tindall , 4. Fans of the Royal Family will likely recall Savannah and George stealing the show in the most hilarious of ways at this year’s Trooping the Colour . While we hope everything goes to plan, it would be a treat to see their close bonds come to life again at the second royal wedding of the year!
Adding to the sweet group of youngsters is Eugenie’s five-year-old goddaughter, Maud Windsor, the daughter of Lord and Lady Frederick Windsor , as well as Theodora Williams , the six-year-old daughter of Ayda Field and singer Robbie Williams. George will be in good company with just one other pageboy, Louis de Givenchy, 6, whose parents are Zoe and Olivier de Givenchy. Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor , 14, and Viscount Severn , 10 – the Queen’s youngest grandkids – will step into the roles of Special Attendants. And finally, as long suspected, Eugenie’s partner in crime, sister Princess Beatrice , and Jack’s brother Thomas Brooksbank will take on the roles of maid of honour and best man, respectively.
This will mark Mia’s first public debut as a sweet bridesmaid along with her beloved cousins, who she often gets the chance to play with at her mom’s various horse riding events and dad’s polo outings. Wedding veterans George and Charlotte will pave the way for the newbies, and it’s clear that the five-year-old prince is a great support to the little ones – at Prince Harry and Meghan ’s wedding in May, he comforted Zalie Warren when she started crying during the ceremony. How sweet!
