There's nothing quite as sweet as a royal love story, especially that of Prince William and Kate. Though the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a swift entry into St. George's Chapel for Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank's wedding thanks to the blustery weather, they did share a sweet moment in the pews away from the crowds.
The beautiful couple – whose children Prince George, 5, and Princess Charlotte, 3, reprised their now-familiar duties as pageboy and bridesmaid – took their seats beside Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan and Princess Anne, and behind Zara and Mike Tindall. As the ceremony was about ready to begin, the cameras panned to the Cambridge couple, catching Kate resting her hand on William's knee, his hand over hers. Catching these tender moments is one of the best parts of any wedding!
William and Kate don't often show their affection towards each other in public, as they are somewhat bound by more traditional ways of conducting themselves in front of royal fans. Sometimes, they do throw the world a bone – as they did recently at the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit on Oct. 9, when William rested his hand on her knee as they posed for photos on the initiative's Friendship Bench. The duo shared a sweet giggle, too.
