The Duchess of Sussex got a little more than she bargained for during a reception at Melbourne’s Government House! While enjoying the third day of their royal tour in Australia, Prince Harry and Meghan met with engineering students to try out their race car demonstration – and the Suits alum was in for quite the shock.

After being told to click a button that would set off the miniature car, Meghan jumped and let out a small scream, covering her face before doubling over with laughter. Prince Harry was a bit taken aback, too, and quickly joined in on the laughs. Royal reported Omid Scobie was able to catch the hilarious moment as officials and students watched the couple in anticipation. In the end, everyone was cracking up!

It was a packed day for the parents-to-be, who made their first stop on Government House Drive to greet thousands of well-wishers just dying to shake hands with their favourite royals. Newly pregnant Meghan had a chance to show off her maternal skills while meeting with some adorable kiddos – one of whom gifted her the sweetest necklace made out of ribbon and gold-painted pasta, and another who gave her a plastic tiara! We have to say … The homemade necklace looked lovely with her Dion Lee dress , and perfectly coordinated with the gold hardware on her Gucci ‘Sylvie’ bag.
After a whirlwind walkabout full of gift-giving and hugs, the Sussexes headed onto the premises of Government House Victoria, where they met with a diverse group of ambassadors of the “This Girl Can” campaign, before participating in a few sporting activities. The duke and duchess even showed off some of their slick dance moves , much to the delight of everyone watching!
