Duchesses Kate and Meghan join the Queen for Remembrance Sunday at the Cenotaph

Following the Royal Family's attendance at the Festival of Remembrance at Royal Albert Hall on Saturday (Nov. 10), Duchess Kate and Duchess Meghan stepped out for the annual Remembrance Day Service with the Queen. They gathered together at the Cenotaph in London's Whitehall on Nov. 11 to honour fallen soldiers.
As in 2017, future king Prince Charles laid a wreath on behalf of the Queen, while Prince William and Prince Harry also took turns laying their own wreaths. The service this year held special meaning, as it marks the 100th year since the end of the First World War.
Kate, Meghan, the Queen and the Duchess of Cornwall watched the service unfold from their balconies. For the first time ever, a German leader – President Frank-Walter Steinmeier – placed a wreath at the Cenotaph.
